What we do
FilterPilot is an independent educational website operated by IN & OUT CARE SOLUTIONS, LLC. We explain air filter sizes, MERV ratings, equipment compatibility, and filter-inspection planning in plain language.
Our guides focus on replacement air filters used in compatible central AC (air conditioning), heating, and HVAC systems. They are not instructions for every window or portable air conditioner.
How we approach recommendations
We prioritize practical compatibility checks and publicly available guidance. We do not claim laboratory testing, hands-on product reviews, or endorsements unless we can substantiate them. Your equipment manufacturer's instructions take priority.
How FilterPilot makes money
We may introduce clearly disclosed affiliate shopping links in the future. At present, we do not sell filters, process orders, or publish affiliate shopping links or paid product endorsements. Read our affiliate disclosure.
